With your purchase you we will be supporting a Pembrokeshire Homeless Charity who aim’s to raise awareness of homelessness and to help those who have become homeless, with individual items or a full emergency survival packs.
They offer guidance & support with signposted venues providing meals, washing facilities, laundry plus other guidance through organizations that may be able to assist. They are registered with Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA). In addition to homelessness, They also offer a service to those in need with emergency food parcels and fuel payment plus Baby Banks designed to help parents, who are in need and to ensure their babies basic needs are met.
Homeless Pembrokeshire even provide an outreach service.
Why does Golden Fleece Online wants to help
WINTER IS COMING 🥶❄ We really want to support a local Pembrokeshire charity & be able to put money directly where it is needed, A growing concern for both my wife & I is how the effects on the increased cost of living will affect our local community, with those who were already struggling to make ends meet, with the increase in heating cost this winter & the predicted cold winter leaving no choice but to heat there homes and how a choice to eat or heat or both on a very little budget will greatly increase the poverty & homelessness in our communities.
The increase in people sleeping rough in our community is real & we felt we had a responsibility to share in any success made to try and support as best as we can with the limited time available in our busy lives.
We have young children and also face some of the same fears & challenges of what lies ahead with a very limited budget & increasing living costs just to cover the basic needs of Food, Warmth & shelter.
We are a small family business reliant on the sales of our products in a very unstable marketplace with UK retail sales lower due to limited budgets, our monthly income is less yet we still feel we need to offer our support and profit share our sales with a charity best equipped to spend it locally on someone who is in dire straits & needs this money literally survive the week, as unfortunately the government budget is not reaching those who really need it currently.
Our plan to help.
We want to be able to put money directly where it is needed, rather than giving a percentage of sales to large corporate companies for fees of marketing and selling, with your support we can encourage sales of our new Cwtch blankets via our website reducing the need for us to trade on the popular online marketplace websites, reducing fees by selling on the website which can then allow us to donated a percentage of your purchase to a much needed charity.
We will also be donating 10 giant extra warm CwtchBlankets to Pembrokeshire Homeless charity to give to who needs them the most when they arrive seeking support, advice & offered an emergency homeless pack.
We all need to act now, not pass by on the other side, homelessness is getting worse in the UK, not better.
